Mission

The MPXV Network is an informal, collaborative online meeting that brings together research groups with shared interests in monkeypox virus (MPXV), orthopoxvirus biology, immunity and control strategies related to vaccination or natural infection. The meetings are intended as a space for open scientific discussion among laboratories working on complementary aspects of MPXV research. Meetings are expected to take place monthly, with each session featuring a presentation from a participating research group. Participation is open and flexible, and members are encouraged to suggest additional groups that may benefit from or contribute to the network.
